IntramuralThey say there's no "i" in the work "we," but every intramural athlete at Ames High school would agree that the "i" is part of the game itself.
Seasonal and year-round favorites iBall, iBad, and iQuiz (the "i" stands for "intramural") are an exciting and central part of Ames High student culture. They allow groups of friends to spend time together and get competitive for enticing prizes, including the coveted black long-sleeved iBall Champion shirts. But the true appeal of intramural activities are their ability to bring groups of people together to work toward a common goal (all while having fun during the hilariously exhilarating ride to the championships). The links on the right will take you to descriptions of each iActivity, including how, when, and where to sign up. These pages will periodically be updated with standings and photographs from competitions. While not all of us are athletes or brainiacs, intramural activities are an easy and fun way to hang out with your friends, make some new buddies, and pick up a few prizes (or at least a memorable team jersey). |
